When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by May 1st via our website. If you do not send a response by that date, you will be marked as "not attending." We would love to celebrate with you; however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVPs.

Do you have cell phone service at the resort?

Nope! We are in the Pisgah National Forest, where cell phone service does not reach. We love this! We want to invite you to put up ALL your devices and be present. Trust us, with 38,000 acres of rugged mountains surrounding us and beautiful Wilson Creek right at your finger tips, there is more than plenty to do! If needed, we do have WiFi up at our Rock Pavilion and main deck area.

Do I get a plus one?

Due to limited venue capacity, only invited guests will be able to attend. If you received a plus one, their name will appear on your invitation envelope and under your name when you RSVP online. Thank you for your understanding.

What should I wear?

Short Answer: Comfortable Cocktail! Long Answer: We are getting married on a sandy beach alongside a creek in the summer heat, so wear something comfortable, but dressy! Ladies: Have fun with your fit! The more color, the better! Please NO whites, creams, or ivories. Men: No jeans or shorts, please!

Are my kids invited?

While we love your little babies, this is an adult-only event. The names on your invitation will list everyone in your party who is invited. We hope that you will still be able to join us for this special day, and we look forward to celebrating with you!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

The wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, weather permitting. Our reception will be indoors. We are hopeful for beautiful weather, but if conditions do not permit an outdoor ceremony or cocktail hour, we will move them indoors to ensure everyone's comfort and safety.

When should we arrive at the ceremony?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m. We ask that all guests arrive by 5:15 p.m. Additionally, arriving early will ensure that you have time to mingle and get seated comfortably.

Will there be parking at the wedding venue?

For guests staying off site, there is a large parking lot when you drive in. If you are staying off site and are planning to drink alcohol, we have a Trolly service that will take you to and from the venue from a specific hotel in nearby Morganton (more info on this to come). Those details will be listed under the Travel section of this website.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We have an incredible photographer who we know will capture the ceremony beautifully. Accordingly, we ask that you turn off all cell phones, smart watches, and other devices during the ceremony. However, please take as many photos as you would like during the cocktail hour and reception!

Do you have a registry?

We appreciate your attendance and do not expect anything in return for our wedding. However, if you would like to purchase a gift, we have created a registry that is linked in the registry tab of this website. If you choose to buy an item from the list, it will be sent to us directly.
